The OpenDaylight Ambassador program was created to help support and grow the global user base as more and more people become interested in the project. OpenDaylight Ambassadors are passionate about the project and open networking, and are recognized for their expertise, leadership and willingness to share their knowledge for the betterment and growth of the community.

Many serve as ODLUG leaders in their local communities, speak at conferences about the Project, mentor new developers, and serve as resources for prospective end user organizations.
